OpenText Achieves FedRAMP Authorization for IT Management Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program has authorized OpenText to deliver its IT Management Platform, or ITMX, to support the digital transformation goals of government organizations.

The ITMX uses artificial intelligence and automation to accelerate application delivery, addressing the need of the public sector to replace legacy systems and meet high service demand, OpenText said Wednesday.

“The availability of FedRAMP authorized IT service management cloud solutions from OpenText validates our commitment to helping U.S. government agencies digitally transform how they work to deliver an intelligent total citizen experience,” said Muhi Majzoub, executive vice president and chief product officer at OpenText. He added that the platform complies with cloud security requirements.

According to a Forrester Research survey, 78 percent of government organizations see IT service management products as a critical tool in their modernization efforts, including streamlining operations, reducing downtime and enhancing the effectiveness of IT systems.

The OpenText platform features Service Management Automation X, Asset Management X, Universal Discovery and CMDB, and Project and Portfolio Management, among other ITSM applications.

Besides ITMX, Fortify on Demand and OpenText Cloud for Government also achieved FedRAMP authorization.

Carahsoft, an OpenText partner, offers the ITMX and other OpenText products and services to federal, state and local government agencies.
