Lucid Software, a company that specializes in visual collaboration software, is partnering with IT offerings provider Carahsoft to bring its visual collaboration products to a wider market.
Carahsoft said Thursday it will make Lucid’s enterprise and FedRAMP-authorized offerings available through its General Services Administration Schedule contract.
Through the partnership, government agencies can access the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, a set of cloud-based products intended to facilitate collaboration within teams.
The visual collaboration products that will be made available through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule include Lucidchart for intelligent diagramming, Lucidspark for virtual whiteboarding and Lucidscale for cloud visualization.
Chris Weber, head of public sector at Lucid Software, emphasized the need for the partnership, saying, “This contract is a significant step for Lucid, allowing agencies to streamline the procurement process so they can quickly and efficiently access our solutions to align, collaborate and plan mission-critical initiatives more securely.”
Drew Scherer, program manager for FedRAMP initiatives at Carahsoft, pointed out the significance of FedRAMP, saying, “Lucid’s FedRAMP authorization ensures that Government customers can deploy their solutions securely, comply with rigorous standards and leverage reuse authorizations to accelerate deployment speed.”
