Joseph Bartasius, a retired U.S. Army colonel, has joined Data Systems Analysts as chief growth officer.
DSA said Bartasius is tasked with spearheading the company’s strategic vision while boosting its presence across federal, defense and academic markets. Bartasius will also oversee the teams handling business development, communications and marketing, capture management, strategy and customer relations.
The new DSA official brings to his new role over two decades of professional experience. The defense industry veteran was the senior principal for the Army sector at General Dynamics and vice president and senior program director at Science Applications International Corporation. Earlier in his career, Bartasius served as program director at BAE Systems and senior managing director at L-3 Communications, now known as L3Harris Technologies.
