Jennifer Ewbank, a nearly three-decade CIA veteran, has joined the board of advisers of RealmOne, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital.
In a statement published Tuesday, RealmOne CEO Gary Daigle highlighted the “extensive industry experience and proven leadership” Ewbank bring to the technology services provider.
Ewbank, a two-time Wash100 Award recipient, was with the CIA for over 28 years. During her last four years at the agency, she served as deputy director of digital innovation and oversaw its digital modernization.
Considered as CIA’s de facto chief digital officer, Ewbank supervised other C-level executives including the chief information officer, chief information security officer and chief data officer.
Ewbank’s career at the agency also includes time serving as chief of station and head of the National Resources Division, a role that saw her building vital partnerships that boosted national security.
“We are confident that her insights will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate to support the vital national security sector,” said Daigle.
Ewbank is also a member of the board of directors of the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk and cybersecurity company DarkOwl.
