The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded Aretum a contract to support the digital transformation efforts of the FEMA Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Work under the contract involves developing artificial intelligence and customer experience services designed to help local governments prepare their hazard mitigation plans, Aretum said Tuesday in a LinkedIn post.
According to FEMA, HMPs begin with state, tribal and local governments identifying common natural disaster risks and vulnerabilities in their area to develop long-term strategies for protecting people and property from disasters.
“We are excited about supporting FEMA and local governments in their Customer Experience journey and supplementing their important mission work with the use of AI, an area that Aretum has been building capabilities in for quite some years now,” said Rohit Gupta, CEO of and operating partner at Aretum.
