The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for HIV, Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention has selected digital services integrator Fearless and professional services company Deloitte to enhance how the agency tracks, analyzes and gains insight from data to help prevent the spread of human immunodeficiency virus.
Under a contract awarded by the NCHHSTP’s Division of HIV Prevention, a data repository and an internal dashboard will be developed to provide the DHP’s senior leadership, branch chiefs and staff with a simplified way to review, monitor and collaborate on data, Fearless said Tuesday.
According to a solicitation released in June for the DHP data repository and dashboard requirement, the cloud-based tools will be built using the CDC’s cloud platform, including the Enterprise Data Analytics and Visualization’s Microsoft Azure environment, supporting the agency’s data modernization efforts.
“By providing DHP with the tools they need to understand and address the HIV epidemic, we’re contributing to a healthier, more equitable future for all,” said Alka Bhave, president of Fearless Digital.
