ETAS Wins DOE Technical Support Services Contract to Support Cleanup Projects at Uranium Enrichment Sites

ETAS Wins DOE Technical Support Services Contract to Support Cleanup Projects at Uranium Enrichment Sites - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Department of Energy has selected Enterprise Technical Assistance Services to provide technical and administrative support to the Office of Environmental Management responsible for overseeing and managing Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office cleanup projects.

Under a contract, ETAS will perform work at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Ohio and the Paducah GDP and the PPPO in Kentucky, the DOE said Thursday.

The company beat out one other small business to win the technical support services contract.

According to the agency, the environmental management office found the ETAS proposal to have the best value to the government considering its organization and management approach, key personnel, past performance, and cost and fee.

The DOE previously awarded ETAS a $97.1 million contract to provide technical support services to the uranium enrichment sites and mitigate human health and environmental risks posed by hazardous waste materials.

The PPPO was established in July 2003 in support of the DOE office’s goal to protect the environment while developing nuclear weapons and performing research on nuclear energy.
