The Naval Special Warfare Command, the Navy component of the U.S. Special Operations Command, has an upcoming requirement to support its daily operations that enable critical mission areas.
In a presolicitation notice posted Thursday on SAM.gov, the command announced its need for qualified maritime services, allowing it to perform the mission of organizing, training, equipping and deploying special operations forces.
The potential contractor must provide logistics support, equipment-related services, management support, professional services, intelligence-related services, engineering and technical services, and administrative support.
The contractor is also anticipated to supply the necessary personnel, training, certifications and supervision to satisfy work specifications.
Additionally, the selected contractor should deliver a high-level work performance that meets the draft solicitation’s guidelines, including the applicable standards found in federal, state and local laws.
Through the effort, the government said it requires input for the upcoming procurement, noting that capability statements from interested parties are not desired at the moment.
Responses will be accepted until Aug. 29.
