RELI Group has received a 10-year, $33 million contract from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to monitor and audit the Making Care Primary model, an initiative that aims to enhance primary care services for CMS beneficiaries.
The company, which has over 20 active contracts with CMS, said Friday it outperformed three other bidders to secure the contract, further extending its partnership with the agency.
Launched on July 1, MCP is a 10.5-year multi-payer framework that focuses on improving care management and coordination, equipping primary care clinicians with tools to collaborate with specialists and using community-based connections to address patient needs.
The framework builds upon previous models such as the Comprehensive Primary Care, CPC+, Primary Care First and the Maryland Primary Care Program.
