Global defense contractor BlueHalo has appointed John Hogan as vice president for advanced research and development.
A team “working on inspiring technologies” has been entrusted to him by Johnathan Jones, BlueHalo senior vice president, Hogan said in a LinkedIn post.
Immediately before joining BlueHalo, Hogan worked for over a year as chief engineer and group lead at Mission Oriented Rapid Solution Engineering, or MORSE, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, according to his LinkedIn profile.
His work experience also includes stints as vice president for research and engineering at business consulting firm Barbaricum and various positions at BAE Systems, including the role of programs director for the company’s FAST Labs for more than four years.
Hogan holds a doctorate degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Tufts University, where he also earned a master’s degree in electrical, electronics and communications.
