At a recent webinar, Hix talked about Hitachi Vantara Federal’s hybrid cloud data offering, Virtual Storage Platform One, and how it helps organizations improve the user experience by providing a single interface for data management, according to a blog post published Thursday on the company’s website.
He explained how VSP One enables organizations to manage unstructured and semi-structured data through a central platform and discussed how the hybrid cloud strategy could help organizations develop a resilient data ecosystem.
The CTO and James Langley, a solutions consultant at Hitachi Vantara Federal, also cited the role of artificial intelligence and automation in transforming data management and the importance of security protocols in handling sensitive government data.
They also discussed the increasing role of AI, the rise of edge computing, the democratization of data and other future trends and how they will shape the future of data management.
