The Department of Defense’s Washington Headquarters Services has chosen Accelerated Business Strategies, a joint venture between Advanced Management Strategies Group and Xcelerate Solutions, to provide emergency management support to its Facilities Services Directorate.
The job, which will be carried out under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, calls for analytical and technical support to ensure the all-hazards, round-the-clock preparedness of the WHS directorate, AMSG said.
The directorate handles emergency management of multiple buildings, including the Pentagon and the Mark Center.
The WHS FSD’s services cover the workforce facilities of more than 60,000 DOD personnel in the National Capital Region.
Jim O’Farrell, ABS president, conveyed the company’s excitement to support the WHS directorate’s function, which he sees as vital to national security.
“We look forward to supporting the government client in all-hazards preparedness,” he said.
ABS is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business founded in 2019 under the Small Business Administration’s Mentor Protege program.
The company won one of the nine spots in the $1.5 billion IDIQ contract award that WHS announced in December 2022.
