SandboxAQ will develop robust safety guidelines, standards and best practices to ensure the responsible deployment of artificial intelligence technologies as it joins the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Safety Institute Consortium.
The Palo Alto, California-based company said Tuesday it is joining over 200 AISIC stakeholders who are building a framework to shape the future of AI.
Through the consortium, SandboxAQ will assist in training and upskilling students and employees to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to harness AI’s potential.
In November 2023, NIST called for applications from organizations with expertise in AI safety to join the consortium, which aims to foster innovation in AI trustworthiness.
