Exiger, a supply chain and third-party risk artificial intelligence company, has acquired University of Cambridge spin-out Versed AI in an effort to expand its AI-powered supply chain visibility, data and mapping capabilities.
The company said Monday Versed AI’s product breakdown technology works to streamline multi-tier supplier network extraction and aggregation and integrating it to Exiger’s supply chain management platform provides clients with supply chain tracing, orchestration and mapping capabilities.
The Versed AI addition is also envisioned to boost the dataset of Exiger and build up Supply Chain Explorer and SDX capabilities.
“Procurement and supply chain professionals across the public and private sector are overwhelmed by the amount of data they have to navigate to meet daily operational and regulatory requirements,” said Exiger CEO Brandon Daniels. “This acquisition allows us to offer a beautifully simple solution to those challenges.”
