The Defense Health Agency is seeking proposals from small businesses capable of providing contracting and acquisition support services.
DHA will award a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract as a small business set aside with an ordering period of up to five years, according to a request for proposals posted Monday on SAM.gov.
The IDIQ covers contract, procurement, cost and computer analysis, systems engineering, program management, business operations and clerical and administrative support. The effort is valued at up to $290 million, according to a request for information notice DHA released in April.
Work will be performed at DHA offices in Virginia, Colorado, Texas, California and Ohio.
Qualified small businesses may submit their question until Aug. 9. Bids are due on Aug. 30.
The agency is in charge of the execution of the Department of Defense’s medical missions. It oversees the Military Health System, which provides health services to military personnel, veterans, families and other beneficiaries. DHA’s Contracting Activity provides acquisition support and manages a contract portfolio involving the MHS.
