Datadog, the developer of a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, has appointed David Galloreese as its new chief people officer, who brings to the role years of human resources experience gained while working with Figma, Wells Fargo, Walmart, Medallia and Caesars Entertainment.
In a statement released Wednesday, Galloreese said he will continue to build Datadog’s mission, culture and team, adding that developing the best talent is key to building quality products and providing enhanced customer experience.
The new appointee most recently served as a senior adviser at McKinsey and Company. He had also provided expert input to Karat, Guild and Gametime.
Commenting on the company’s new signing, Datadog co-founder and CEO Olivier Pomel described Galloreese as “a great addition to the executive team,” noting that Galloreese’s experience will “help drive the next chapter of growth and scale at Datadog.”
