Test and measurement equipment supplier TEVET seeks to enhance its capabilities in radar, electromagnetic spectrum operations and radio communications systems via a strategic partnership with RTX company Raytheon under the Department of Defense’s Mentor-Protege Program.
TEVET said Tuesday that the Mentor-Protege Program pairs small businesses with larger contractors so that the small businesses could develop their capabilities and enhance their competitiveness in the government contracting space.
TEVET CEO Tracy Solomon described her company’s partnership with Raytheon as “a strategic evolution,” adding, “This partnership empowers us to significantly expand technological frontiers, providing our customers with unparalleled innovative solutions.”
The collaboration is facilitated by the Department of the Navy and sponsored by the Naval Sea Systems Command Major Buying Command.
