Kristen Summers, former operating unit chief technology officer at Microsoft‘s federal business, has joined ManTech to serve as vice president and artificial intelligence technical fellow.
ManTech said Tuesday Summers will drive the creation of a team of advanced technical practitioners tasked to support customer mission requirements through their deep experience in analytics and AI areas.
She brings to ManTech’s Global Data Analytics and AI Solutions Practice over two decades of experience in AI and related areas, having previously worked at Microsoft Federal helping address government customer challenges using advanced technology. The executive also served as a distinguished engineer and AI CTO at IBM.
Summers will now report to ManTech VP Brandy Durham, who leads the said practice.
“Kristen will help drive our strategic and tactical approaches of bringing state-of-the-art AI solutions to our clients,” remarked Eric Brown, chief innovation officer at ManTech. “Her technical leadership will accelerate independent research and development, technical differentiation and strategic technical business development of advanced data analytics and AI.”
