The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management has released a draft solicitation for a small business set-aside contract to provide infrastructure support services at a gaseous diffusion plant site in Kentucky.

The Paducah Infrastructure Support Services procurement effort encompasses surveillance, maintenance, repair, construction and replacement of facilities; custodial services; real property management; environmental safety program; and waste management, DOE said Thursday.

The contract also covers fleet management, grounds maintenance, snow removal and pest control, roadway parking and lot maintenance, engineering, training and mail services.

Interested parties have until June 13 to submit comments on the draft request for proposals.

In February, DOE released the final solicitation for the procurement of technical support services for the Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office, which oversees the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Kentucky and the Portsmouth GDP in Ohio.
