Red Hat‘s fully managed application platform has achieved the Ready status under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The designation issued by the FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board makes the company’s Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS or ROSA available on the FedRAMP Marketplace as an offering seeking to obtain a provisional authorization to operate from JAB, according to a blog post published Friday on the company’s website.
ROSA is a fully managed service that enables organizations to build, deploy and scale containerized applications with the Red Hat OpenShift enterprise Kubernetes platform on the Amazon Web Services cloud environment.
Red Hat is currently working with a third-party assessment official for ROSA’s JAB Security Assessment under FedRAMP as part of the process for securing P-ATO.
The company obtained FedRAMP High authorization for its Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS GovCloud and predictive analytics service offering, Red Hat Insights, in January.
