Parsons has secured a three-year, $28 million contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance command and control and space software baselines for the Global Application Research, Development, Engineering and Maintenance toolset.
The company said Tuesday it will help AFRL continuously research, develop, prototype, integrate, test, demonstrate, deploy and maintain technologies and concepts throughout the contract life cycle.
“In a rapidly evolving threat ecosystem, it’s imperative that our defense and intelligence apparatus maintains intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance dominance, requiring agile development of technologies and tools, which we are proud to continue delivering to the AFRL,” said Mike Kushin, president of the defense and intelligence sector for Parsons.
Under the contract, Parsons will build on its cyber expertise to identify weaknesses in the GARDEM toolset and deliver software capability enhancements for the defense and intelligence communities.
General Dynamics’ information technology division, American Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton and Polaris Alpha, now part of Parsons, were awarded spots on a $427 million multiple-award contract in September 2019 to provide enhancements, modifications, maintenance and research and development of GARDEM software baselines.
