LMI has secured a five-year, $65 million contract to help the U.S. Army manage and transform its logistics and financial management information enterprise resource planning system.
The company said Tuesday it will provide business transformation, program management and technical, financial and professional advisory services in support of the Global Combat Support System-Army platform.
GCSS-Army is an ERP system managed by the Army Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems to streamline supply chain, maintenance and financial management processes across the service branch.
“LMI’s contribution across the Joint Logistics Enterprise energizes the situational awareness and decision-making needed to sustain current operations while moving with the sense of purpose needed to meet future demands,” said Jon Baba, senior vice president of for the defense market at LMI.
