Jim Chilton, a space industry executive and a previous Wash100 awardee, has joined the advisory board of All Points Logistics.
In this capacity, he will work with All Point’s leadership team to develop the company’s growth strategy, build up client relationships and launch the Space Prep program, the company said Friday.
The Space Prep program seeks to provide spacecraft launch support services and infrastructure. Through the program, the company plans to open a multiuser facility within the Kennedy Space Center region in Florida by December 2026.
All Points CEO Phil Monkress said Chilton’s space industry knowledge, experience, management skills and guidance will be key as the company expands Space Prep into new partnerships and business opportunities.
Chilton is a former senior vice president of the space and launch division at Boeing’s defense, space and security business with oversight of several programs, including the CST-100 Starliner commercial crew vehicle and NASA’s Space Launch System.
He is the managing partner at consulting firm Canaveral Group, a board member at the International Astronautical Association and a board director at the Space Foundation. He previously served as board chair of United Space Alliance.
