Calibre Systems has secured a prime contract from the U.S. Army to maintain and update the service branch’s web-based cost estimation and analysis models and database tools.

The company said Friday it will assist the deputy assistant secretary of the Army for costs and economics in maintaining the Army Force Organization Cost Estimating System and developing the Installation Status Report – Infrastructure cost factors for construction, renovation and sustainment projects.

“DASA-CE has always been an exceptional client. We aim to build upon our expertise in Army force costing and the FORCES Suite of Models to provide innovative solutions for DASA-CE and the Army’s evolving needs,” said Richard Pineda, president and CEO of Calibre Systems.

A previously published solicitation notice for the FORCES support contract indicated that the selected contractor would maintain the FORCES model suite; update the tools’ supporting databases; perform special cost analysis research; and develop new methodologies, data tables and cost factors.
