Evolver, a Converged Security Solutions subsidiary, has launched a federal business focused on providing information technology transformation and cybersecurity platforms and services for government agencies, and has appointed business development executive Jamin Rogovoy as president of the new entity.

Evolver Federal will provide cybersecurity, application development, enterprise infrastructure and cloud services for government clients, the parent company said Monday.

The establishment of the new federal entity came after CSS acquired Solutions By Design II and integrated SBD into its Evolver business in August.

Mike Santelli, CEO of CSS, said the formation of Evolver Federal integrates SBD, bolsters the company’s position as an IT transformation and security platforms provider and marks a key step in advancing the company’s federal IT market development and strategic growth plan.

Rogovoy, a U.S. Navy veteran, most recently served as interim senior vice president of client delivery at Evolver and was SVP of business development at CSS.

He also held leadership roles at several companies, including SoBran, OMNIPLEX World Services and US Investigations Services.
