Leonid Capital Partners has made an investment in EMPEQ, the developer of a platform that works to identify military equipment parts and defective components using computer vision and artificial intelligence.
Leonid said Monday that the funding facility aligns with EMPEQ’s Air Force Direct to Phase 2 Small Business Innovation Research contract.
James Parker, a managing partner at Leonid Capital, said EMPEQ’s work safeguards individual missions and strengthens national defense.
“Their innovative technology represents a paradigm shift in quality control regarding National Security supply chain, and we are proud to support their mission through our unique investment strategy,” Parker adds.
“Leonid recognizes the urgency of our mission and has provided us with the financial resources we need to enhance our ability to protect our troops and ensure the integrity of our military equipment,” said Herbert Dwyer, CEO and co-founder of EMPEQ.
