Matt Teschke has been selected as chief technology officer of Redhorse.

In his new role, Teschke will lead the development and improvement of Redhorse’s technologies to better align with the needs of government clients, the Washington, D.C.-based company announced on Monday.

“Matt’s strong leadership skills and passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies will be priceless as we continue to grow and develop new ways to deliver value to our customers,” said John Zangardi, CEO of Redhorse and a two-time Wash100 Award recipient.

Zangardi expressed his excitement for Teschke to join the Redhorse leadership team and highlighted the “critical role” he will play in conducting the company’s technology roadmap and supervising the technical team.

Teschke’s background is centered around cloud, machine learning and artificial intelligence, with natural language processing, computer vision and generative AI as key focus areas. Before his appointment, Teschke was director of special projects at Accenture Federal Services and Novetta, where he guided a large portion of the organization’s ML research and development efforts as head of its Machine Learning Center of Excellence.
