LMI has received a potential five-year, $604 million contract from the U.S. Border Patrol to enhance the technological capabilities of the agency’s Program Management Office in the country’s southern and northern borders.
The management consulting firm said Tuesday it will help four USBP headquarter directorates in ensuring migrant safety, facilitating seamless commerce, intercepting illicit human and drug trafficking activities and fortifying national security against acts of terrorism.
Doug Wagoner, CEO of LMI and a four-time Wash100 Award winner, emphasized the company’s support, stating, “We remain committed to continuously exceeding expectations in support of PMOD’s crucial mission.”
Under the task order award, the Virginia-based company will provide program management, lifecycle logistics management, technical and engineering support and environmental planning support.
The contract has a one-year base period, with the possibility of four additional one-year options.
