Derek Lewis, formerly director of strategy at uncrewed aircraft manufacturing company RapidFlight, has been named vice president of technical solutions at MAG Aerospace.
Lewis said on LinkedIn on Wednesday that he brings over two decades of experience in the defense and aerospace industry to the role, with experience in organizational and technical leadership, program management and business development.
Prior to his most recent role, he worked for nine years at Leidos. He held dual roles during his stay at the company, initially as VP and division manager and later as VP and chief engineer.
His career also includes working at Science Applications International Corp. for nearly a decade as VP and division manager.
