The U.S. Army has awarded Parry Labs a follow-on contract for the transition and fielding of the Gray Eagle Miniature Mission Interface software for the MQ-1C–25M aircraft.
The company announced Wednesday that it was granted next-phase funding by the Army Product Manager Office – Endurance Unmanned Aircraft Systems to upgrade hardware and software as part of the Ground Modernization Software Suite.
The GEMMI hub includes systems for tactical communication and expeditionary command and control, as well as a processing, exploitation and dissemination workstation. Parry plans to conduct ground, flight and lab tests of GEMMI in the next 24 months.
Parry Labs CEO John Parkes said PdM EUAS will receive technology that will help warfighters in multidomain operations, adding: “We are committed to making cutting-edge software and transforming the battlefield.”
