A joint venture between Akiak Technology and NikSoft Systems has secured a $99.9 million contract from the Defense Health Agency to provide technology life cycle support services to the DHA Solution Delivery Division Technology Support Branch.
Akiak NS will provide assessment, planning and implementation support to the SDD in areas such as digital transformation, system life cycle management, evolutionary architecture and design, operations support, information technology life cycle management and cloud solutions architecture, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The contract has a five-month base performance period with options to extend work for another 17 months.
DHA’s Professional Services Contracting Division obligated $21.7 million in fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds for the base year.
Akiak NS is a Small Business Administration-certified tribal 8(a) mentor-protege JV that provides support services to civilian and defense clients.
