VA Seeks Comment on Draft Unrestricted Pool Criteria for Integrated Healthcare Transformation 2.0 Contract - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting industry feedback on draft criteria for the conceptual unrestricted pool of the follow-on Integrated Healthcare Transformation contract.

In April 2020, the VA’s Veterans Health Administration awarded six small businesses positions on the potential 10-year, $1 billion IHT multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for professional consulting and health care services.

VHA proposed the criteria to help contracting officers determine whether a task order requirement should be competed through the unrestricted pool of the IHT 2.0 contract, according to a special notice published Tuesday.

According to the notice, pre-solicitation criteria include a standard market research showing that there are not two or more service-disabled, veteran-owned businesses in the marketplace and a task order worth more than $125 million.

Comments on the proposed draft unrestricted pool criteria for IHT 2.0 are due Aug. 30.

In April, VA announced plans to raise the ceiling value of the existing $1 billion IHT contract by $450 million and start developing the requirements for the recompete vehicle.
