L3Harris Technologies has received recognition from the Department of Defense for its commitment to maintaining industrial security excellence and strengthening U.S. counterintelligence capabilities.
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency selected L3Harris’ Space & Airborne Systems facility as one of 19 recipients of the James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award, the company said Thursday.
The recognition marks the 19th consecutive year that the defense contractor has earned the award for adhering to national industrial security program standards.
L3Harris is also among the four recipients of the Jack Donnelly Award, which recognizes companies and institutions with the ability to prevent foreign theft of U.S. military technology.
“We are humbled to be the only defense company the DoD recognized this year with both awards, and we are proud to support our customers and this nation,” said Christopher Kubasik, chair and CEO of L3Harris and a three-time Wash100 awardee.
