The Defense Information Systems Agency has begun to solicit information on small businesses with the technical capability to meet the requirements of the Defense Enclave Services Expansion program.
DISA intends to compete DES-E as a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help modernize the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network, Secret IP Router Network, Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System and other classified networks, according to a sources sought notice published Friday.
Under DES-E, DISA plans to move potential customers into a single service provider architecture that it can operate and manage through an enterprise information technology-as-a-service model.
Interested stakeholders should state their customer engagement with DOD agencies and functional commands and experience conducting large-scale network infrastructure discovery activities and designing enterprise-level DOD Architecture Framework-compliant architectures for the JWICS domain.
DISA also wants information on vendors’ experience establishing and maintaining a property management system, including the establishment of internal controls to manage Construction in Progress and general Government Furnished Property.
Responses are due July 17.
