CGI’s government business arm has received a $49.7 million contract from the U.S. Strategic Command to bolster the Global Integration Enterprise‘s operation, range, capability and resilience.
The Defense Department said Friday CGI Federal will provide STRATCOM with research and development support as well as sustainment services for new and existing hardware, systems and software of the enterprise over a six-month period.
The Air Force is obligating approximately $3.4 million from fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance and research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award of the sole-source contract.
Work will run through Dec. 31, 2023, at the Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
