Orolia Defense & Security Rebrands as Safran Federal Systems

Orolia Defense & Security Rebrands as Safran Federal Systems - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Orolia Defense & Security will now operate under the brand name Safran Federal Systems in line with its inclusion in Safran Group, an aerospace and defense company that acquired the former in 2022.

Safran Federal Systems on Monday announced its rebranding along with a new inertial navigation offering, which includes the Hemispherical Resonator Gyro Crystal technology.

The Safran business has been providing resilient positioning, navigation and timing systems to government customers since 2006. Its inertial navigation technology, combined with HRG Crystal gyroscope, uses motion and rotation sensors to track objects without the need for external systems.

“Though our name and look are changing, our people, our operations, and our leadership team remain the same,” said Safran Federal Systems President Hironori Sasaki. “We remain fully committed to ensuring the success of our customers and the success of our warfighters.”
