Carahsoft Technology has secured a $43.1 million task order to provide enterprise-wide platform engineering support of Tanzu applications to the U.S. Air Force’s Kessel Run through the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule.
The Department of Defense said Monday the Reston, Virginia-based company bested the five other offers the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center received for the time and materials ceiling task order.
Carahsoft will seek to rapidly deploy warfighting capabilities using cloud computing, platform as a service, infrastructure aaS and continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
The company’s work will run through June 30, 2027, and occur at several locations in the U.S.
At the time of the award, approximately $4 million from the service branch’s research, development, test and evaluation funds for fiscal year 2023, along with $2 million from operations and maintenance funds for the same fiscal year, are being allocated.
