David Weston, former Lockheed Martin director, will join ATI as vice president of investor relations.

Beginning July 1, he will be responsible for collaborating with investors and ATI’s business leaders to support corporate and financial strategies, the company said Monday.

Weston has served in various roles at Lockheed, having been part of the aerospace and defense contractor for 33 years and most recently serving as director of investor relations. He was appointed director of finance for business units including rotocraft; ground, maritime and civil products; and training and logistics.

From 2012 to 2022, he also worked as adjunct professor at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida.

Weston will take over for interim investor relations head Tom Wright, ATI’s vice president of financial analysis and planning.

“With his knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry and diverse financial expertise, Dave is well-positioned to communicate ATI’s strategies and financial performance with the investment community,” said Don Newman, executive vice president and chief financial officer at ATI.
