A Koniag Government Services subsidiary will help the Indian Health Service manage information technology modernization efforts under an $83 million contract.
Kadiak will assist an IHS program management office across eight task areas to facilitate the usability and integration of agency data while ensuring patient care delivery, KGS said Tuesday.
Kevin Wideman, CEO of KGS, said the company aims to help the agency carry out its project and mission “to raise the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level.”
Contract work covers support for the project, acquisition and business, systems engineering, implementation and deployment, test and verification, transition and PMO operations.
