Siemens Government Technologies President and CEO John Ustica was recently presented with his 2023 Wash100 Award during a meeting with Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the coveted award.
Each Wash100 class represents the highest level of talent among government contracting industry executives. In its 10th anniversary run, the award once again selected a powerful cohort of remarkable GovCon figures following a scrutinizing selection process that considers each nominee’s contributions to the field.
Ustica joined the ranks of Wash100 for the first time this year for driving company growth through contract awards and partnerships and promoting technological advancement. He also reached a major career milestone last year with his promotion to CEO of SGT.
The Wash100 Award not only looks at past achievements but also anticipates the continued momentum of each winner.
Since Ustica was inducted into Wash100, SGT won a $24.8 million U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract to bolster the infrastructure of an Army garrison in Europe to boost energy savings and further energy resilience work.
He also participated in a video interview with EM, during which he highlighted energy resiliency as a growing trend in the GovCon field and advocated for improvements to energy infrastructure.
Executive Mosaic looks forward to seeing where Ustica takes SGT as the year unfolds.
