Former National Cyber Director Chris Inglis has been added to the advisory board of security analytics platform vendor Securonix.
The newly formed board comprises six defense and security professionals who will provide guidance to the Securonix leadership on new technologies, regulatory changes, industry trends and customer needs, the company said Wednesday.
Inglis served in the federal government for more than four decades, including nearly two years as the first national cyber director and 28 years at the National Security Agency.
He also led the Cyberspace Solarium Commission, which produced a report in 2020 recommending 83 actions for Congress and the executive branch to protect the country against cyber attacks.
