Amy Williams, formerly senior director of proactive services at BlueVoyant, has joined cybersecurity services provider Coalfire Federal as vice president of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
Williams, who brings to the role over a decade of industry experience in cybersecurity management and compliance, will be responsible for building a team to provide advisory services to customers preparing for the Department of Defense’s CMMC framework, Coalfire said Monday.
“CMMC advisory services are (or should be) very different from CMMC assessment services but both should be performed by dedicated team members who have adequate experience, credentials and organizational guidance,” commented Williams.
Before joining BlueVoyant, Williams was VP of cybersecurity at Unlimited Technologies and director of cyber at the New York Citizens Crime Commission.
Louisville, Colorado-headquartered Coalfire offers a full suite of CMMC advisory and assessment services to the defense industrial base.
