Obsidian Solutions Group has launched its nuclear enterprise services initiative to expand its augmented and virtual reality capabilities through modeling and simulation.
The initiative aims to address growing customer demands and support the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency by aiding in their training, exercises and consequence management efforts, the consulting and technology company said Friday.
The strategic initiative is expected to make significant contributions to national security efforts related to radiological threats. It will also help advance modeling and simulation tools to provide support in the detection and prevention of radiological events, including counterterrorism and counter-proliferation.
Tyrone Logan, CEO of Obsidian Solutions Group, said the company is positioned to offer responses to the prevailing challenges of homeland defense and terrorism.
