Industry veteran Bryan Walter has been selected by FireTeam Solutions as its first-ever chief growth officer, a role in which he will leverage his 20 years of experience in national security-focused information technology and business development services to further the company’s growth strategy in national security markets.
Also joining FireTeam is David Bromberg, who will bring decades of financial leadership experience within the IT space to the organization’s chief financial officer position, FireTeam announced from Reston, Virginia on Monday.
“Bryan and David are both experienced leaders with impressive track records and a deep understanding of next-generation cloud solutions, data science and analytics, custom software solutions and the needs of our customers in the U.S. national security space,” said Paul Farmer, FireTeam CEO.
Prior to assuming his new role, Walter was vice president and general manager of federal solutions for Gordian, an enterprise that specializes in IT services centering on construction and facilities management.
Earlier, he served as the go-to-market head for Accenture Federal Services’ cloud strategic solutions arm as well as a growth and strategy leader for the company’s national security sector.
Before Accenture, Walter held roles at Deloitte Consulting, Altamira Technologies Corp. and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Commenting on the announcement, Walter said that he is excited to work alongside FireTeam’s established engineering and software development team to pinpoint opportunities to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
Bromberg previously served as controller for Panopto, a video capture software provider. He has held the same role at numerous technology companies, including Delinea, Resonate and Cricket Media.
“I’m pleased to join this accomplished team and help the Company implement programs required for continued growth and success in meeting the ever-evolving, mission-critical needs of our national security customers,” he said.
FireTeam merged with Case Consulting in October 2022 and is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, a private equity firm centered around aerospace, defense, space, power and utility services and speciality industrial markets. Through its AI Industrial Partners Structured Solutions Fund I, the organization made a large investment in FireTeam in October 2021.
“Bryan and David’s financial and industry experience will be invaluable in ensuring FireTeam has the operational capabilities and strategic direction needed to make the most of the significant opportunities in the U.S. national security space,” said AEI Principal Jeffrey Hart.
