Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded Peraton a $74 million task order to provide life cycle cyber resiliency and advanced cybersecurity engineering for fleet forces.
The company said Wednesday it will support the test, training and experimentation environment located in the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity in Virginia as part of the five-year deal.
Work covers the provision of life cycle management, fleet training support, systems assessment and disposal services.
Tom Afferton, president of the cyber mission sector at Peraton, said the company will utilize its information management and analytics technologies to provide NAVSEA with comprehensive cyber mission capabilities to help improve fleet readiness.
NSWCDD DNA is a Navy fleet concentration area that supports research and development efforts in areas of intelligence and cyber technology, integrated training systems and combat systems readiness.
