Science Applications International Corp. will handle Unisys Operating System 2200 capacity services work at the Defense Information Systems Agency’s data centers under a $50.2 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The Department of Defense said Monday the contract has an 11-month base period until Nov. 30, 2023, as well as two one-year option periods that will extend work through Nov. 30, 2025.
SAIC was the sole company that submitted a proposal for the solicitation as no other supplies or services would meet agency requirements. It will build on Unisys’ similar work under a $80.4 million contract DISA awarded in 2019.
The new contractor acquired Unisys’ federal arm in March 2020 under a $1.2 billion deal.
