CORE Engineering & Construction, Healtheon, Howard W. Pence, Sergent Construction and Wright Bros have won a combined $99 million construction contract from the U.S. Navy.
Under the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the military branch will procure services for construction projects at Department of Defense facilities within the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast operations area, the DOD said Wednesday.
Work under the award is expected to be completed by December 2027 and will be performed in Florida.
At the time of the award, each organization will receive $1,000, the minimum contract guarantee for the selected companies.
Fiscal 2023 operation and maintenance funding amounting to $5,000 will be obligated when the contract is awarded and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Other funding will become available at the delivery order level as contracting actions occur.
Awardees were selected among 34 total offers received. The contracting activity is NAVFAC SE in Jacksonville, Florida.
