MicroStrategy has secured an authorized designation under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for its cloud-based analytics platform for government customers.
The business intelligence company said Tuesday that MicroStrategy Cloud for Government service achieved the certification with support from the Department of Health and Human Services and that the offering is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace.
As a managed software-as-a-service platform, MicroStrategy Cloud for Government works to provide always-on threat monitoring across expert-managed environments and enables analytics development and deployment.
The service is designed to advance analytics adoption, raise data literacy, enable dynamic workspaces, support informed decision-making and augment business operations using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Rick “Ozzie” Nelson, senior vice president and general manager for public sector at MicroStrategy, said through FedRAMP authorization, the company will help government customers build data-driven cultures in a timelier manner and at a larger scale.
