SilverEdge Government Solutions has received a subcontract from Parsons to help the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency comply with federal information and communication technology accessibility standards.
The subcontract award is part of Parsons’ Combatant Commands Cyber Mission Support contract with the General Services Administration and is intended to address NGA’s Section 508 compliance requirement, SilverEdge said Monday.
GSA awarded the potential five-year, $590 million CCMS program in 2019.
SilverEdge’s work will cover the development, integration, testing and deployment of tools meant to ensure NGA personnel with disabilities can access the agency’s electronic and IT systems.
The Herndon, Virginia-based company will also help the agency form offices that will oversee accessibility and centralized captioning and transcription programs.
