Russell Roberts, former chief information officer at the Transportation Security Administration, was tapped by Unissant to serve as its chief experience officer.
In his role, Roberts will supervise Unissant’s customer experience initiatives, aid clients in building information technology strategies and help in the development of an inclusive strategic plan for the company, the data analytics service provider said Monday.
Roberts, a former officer in the U.S. Air Force, brings over 32 years of leadership experience. He has been with TSA since 2004 and was the CIO for a five-year period, managing the agency’s IT governance, information security and project management.
The Florida State University alum has served as the source selection authority on a number of medium and large-scale government IT procurement actions.
